Abstract
Thermal printing head consists of a ceramic substrate; a first conductor layer on the ceramic substrate; a series of second conductive deposits each having a part adjacent to the first conductive deposit; and areas of resistive material, each extending between one of the second conductive deposits at its part adjacent the first conductive deposit, and the first conductive deposit, making electrical contact at each end. The first conductive deposit comprises a first straight line part. The second conductive deposit is effected adjacent the first. These deposits are applied by screen printing usin an ink contg. as conductor a metal selected from Pt, Ag, Pd and Au, their mixts. and alloys. A resistive area is then screen printed between the long arm of the first conductive deposit and the second conductive deposit running alongside it.
