Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil de contrôle non-destructif. Le procédé est caractérisé en ce qu'on excite un transducteur ultrasonique de façon à produire un faisceau d'énergie ultrasonique d'une distance focale présélectionnée et dirigé vers un objet à contrôler, en ce qu'on fait exécuter au faisceau un mouvement de balayage le long d'une ligne, en ce qu'on reçoit des échos provenant de l'objet et qui sont affichés, en ce qu'on fait exécuter au faisceau un mouvement de balayage à une seconde vitesse inférieure à la première et en ce qu'on refocalise alors le faisceau sur plusieurs distances focales différentes. Application au diagnostic médical.
