Abstract

L'invention se rattache aux secteurs techniques du travail des matières plastiques ainsi qu'aux appareils de coupe et soudure. La machine se compose d'un bâti sur lequel est déroulée la gaine en matière plastique se présentant sous la forme d'un rouleau monté à rotation libre sur support solidaire du bâti, ladite gaine étant ouverte latéralement selon l'un de ses côtés au fur et à mesure du déroulement par un organe de coupe monté transversalement au sens de défilement de la gaine, et en amont d'un plateau articulé au bâti et équipé à l'avant ou à l'arrière d'un bloc de coupe et de soudure par résistance, ledit plateau étant en outre équipé d'un ensemble mobile longitudinalement pour faire varier la longueur d'une résistance électrique qui vient en contact après rabattement angulaire du plateau, avec la bordure ouverte de la gaine en vue de sa soudure après l'introduction du produit à emballer par ladite ouverture. L'invention est notamment utilisée pour l'emballage des produits dans une gaine en matière plastique.
