Abstract

On polymérise des styrènes ou copolymères un mélange de styrènes et d'autres monomères vinyliques en utilisant comme initiateur de polymérisation, un peroxyde organique dont la température de décomposition correspondant à dix heures de demi-vie est de 40 à 70 degrés C, à raison de 1 à 10 % par rapport au poids des styrènes ou au poids total des styrènes et des autres monomères vinyliques, la température de polymérisation étant de 50 à 120 degrés C.
