Abstract

Système de maintien d'images pour dispositif d'affichage, assurant le maintien des images à afficher à partir d'une représentation comprimée desdites images. Le système 24 comporte une mémoire de maintien d'images pour emmagasiner des segments de données d'image codées, un générateur de données commande pour chacun desdits segments, une mémoire répertoire à incréments pour emmagasiner les données de commande à des emplacements adressables par incréments, une unité de commande de maintien d'image pour rechercher par incréments les données de commande dans la mémoire répertoire de façon à sortir séquentiellement de la mémoire de maintien d'images, les données d'image à afficher sur le dispositif d'affichage 20. Application aux systèmes d'affichage à tube à rayons cathodiques.
