Abstract

L'invention concerne une balise répondeuse pour la simulation de cibles radar. Le principe de fonctionnement de la balise consiste, après réception et transposition en fréquence intermédiaire du signal hyperfréquence émis par le radar, à détecter la phase instantanée du signal à fréquence intermédiaire par rapport à un signal de référence à la fréquence intermédiaire, à mémoriser ladite phase instananée afin de la retarder, à modifier la phase mémorisée en fonction de la fréquence Doppler à simuler, à moduler la phase du signal de référence par la phase retardée et modifiée, et à transposer le signal modulé résultant en hyperfréquence afin de le réémettre vers le radar. Application notamment à l'étalonnage des radars.
