Abstract
La présente invention se rapporte à un procédé de réduction stéréospécifique de la quinidinone en quinidine. L'agent réducteur employé est un hydrure d'un alkyl aluminium, ou d'un compose analogue plus complexe comportant l'aluminium et un métal alcalin, qui est utilisé en présence d'un agent orienteur constitué par une base organique contenant un hétérocycle azoté. On peut utiliser un solvant auxiliaire par exemple de type aromatique ou éther pour diluer le milieu et/ou introduire l'agent réducteur. L'application de cette invention est l'obtention de la quinidine à partir de son dérivé d'oxydation, la quinidinone.
