Abstract

La présente invention concerne un appareil permettant, par un procédé de secouage, la séparation sous eau, par différence de densité, de tous minerais, minéraux ou matériaux de granulométrie de 0 mm à 15 mm, et de densité supérieure à 1. Cet appareil comprend une cuve-trémie 1 dans laquelle évolue un panier de secouage 9 mu par un vérin pneumatique 24, dont la course et la cadence peuvent être réglées à la demande. Le fond 30 de ce panier a la propriété de s'ouvrir, sous l'action de vérins pneumatiques, pour évacuer les produits lourds. Il est disposé, sur le flanc du panier, une batterie d'entonnoirs, créant un flux d'eau à la surface de la masse des matériaux à séparer et en entraînant les produits légers vers une évacuation automatique. Ce système est caractérisé par la consommation réduite en eau, par la rapidité et par la qualité des séparations obtenues.
