Abstract
The system reduces the energy consumed by driers. The heat contained in the discharged gases is returned to the fresh incoming air via a heat-conductive liquid. This liquid is non-decomposing, the non-volatile at the temperatures handles, does not react to the products handles, and is non-soluble in water. Heating of the liquid can take place by direct contact in a tower, it and the gases flowing in opposite directions.
