Abstract

The elements are produced by applying metallising procedures, such as the spraying of molten metal, onto a supporting surface. The supporting surface may be a rock in its natural state such as cellular basalt, or the nature of the mineral may be altered so that blocks, plates or mouldings of glass, ceramic material or concrete are used. The metals are for pref. bronze or stainless steel but any desired metal may be used.
