Abstract
At the extremities of the joints are mechanisms which, on the downward track offer small impedance to the upward direction frequency and capacitive impedance to the downward direction frequency, whereas, on the upward track, the reverse is the case. The electric joint comprises two inductive loops situated at the upward and downward extremities of the joint. The inductive loop is a parallelogram, two sides being parallel to the track rails, and the loops are connected in series. The mechanisms are connected by either receptors or emitters of frequency relative to the associated track circuit. The receptors, activating a control mechanism of the principal track circuit, together with the axles, giving the shunt effect, produce progressive reestablishment of the amplitude of signals of the upward circuit, and progressive attenuation of the signals of the downward circuit.
