Abstract

La présente invention est relative à une amélioration au procédé du brevet principal, permettant d'obtenir l'ettringite sous forme de fibres. Selon l'invention, on opère comme dans le brevet principal, mais en mettant assez d'eau pour avoir toujours une suspension contenant, en fin de réaction, au plus 25 % de matière sèche, et on soumet cette suspension à une agitation modérée, 1 à 5 fois plus forte que nécessaire pour maintenir la suspension homogène. Application au remplacement de fibres d'amiante, notamment comme produit ignifuge.
