Abstract

The heated hair curler has a resistance heater element inside it (2) which is connected to two plugs (7) or sockets. The heating element (2) consists of two metal radiators each having a hollow D shaped cross section. One of the two metal heat radiators is on one side, and the other heat radiator on the other side, of a heating resistance (6). The heating resistance (6) is a cylindrical plate, and is a heat conductor with positive temperature coefficients for its resistance figure above a threshold figure for temperature. Preferably there is a cavity at one end, housing the plugs (7) corresponding to a corresponding protuberance on a support.
