Abstract
1. A tubular heater having a heating coil (3) embedded in insulating material (2) within a tubular jacket (1) of deformable metal, the terminals of said heating coil being connected to terminal bolts (4) having a bolt portion of greater diameter embedded in insulating material (2) and a bolt portion of lesser diameter passing through an insulating bead inserted at the end face of the tubular jacket (1) and mechanically supported by said tubular jacket, characterized by the combination of features that - the insulating bead (5) is formed with a stepped diameter and the portion of the insulating bead (5) having the greater diameter is held pressed between two constrictions or indentations (7) of the tubular jacket (1), - the portion of the terminal bolt (4) projecting from the insulating bead (5) is provided with a pressure-flattened portion holding the insulating bead (5) pressed in the direction of the inner side of said tubular heater, - the insulating material (2) is impregnated in known manner with a silicone oil or the like.
