Abstract

Montage à thyristor avec protection contre les surtensions, comprenant un thyristor et une diode à avalanche connectée en parallèle sur ce thyristor, ainsi qu'un dispositif générateur d'impulsions d'amorçage pour ce thyristor dont le fonctionnement est influencé par le courant débité par la diode à avalanche, cette diode étant elle-même branchée en série avec un condensateur associé à une résistance de décharge. Afin que la diode à avalanche 3 se décharge pour une certaine valeur de la charge du thyristor, le condensateur 4 et sa résistance de décharge 6 sont dimensionnés de manière à constituer un circuit de simulation de la charge instantanée de la diode, ce circuit commandant le dispositif générateur d'impulsions d'amorçage 2 pour en provoquer l'intervention lorsqu'est atteinte ladite valeur de la charge. Application notamment à la réalisation de convertisseurs statiques à haute tension.
