Abstract
Le chargeur de batterie de l'invention comporte un redresseur 3, un filtre 4, 5, et un hacheur multicellulaire 9 disposés en série avec la batterie à charger 7. Chaque cellule 14 du hacheur comporte un transistor de commutation 16, une inductance de charge 15 et une diode de roue libre 17. Les différentes cellules sont commandées successivement par un oscillateur en anneau 18 avec à chaque fois un déphasage qui est fonction du nombre de cellules. La fréquence de recurrence de l'oscillateur en anneau est commandée par un dispositif générateur de signaux de synchronisation 13 dont la fréquence est fonction de la tension aux bornes de la batterie et de son courant de charge Ce chargeur permet de supprimer le transformateur abaisseur classique, de réduire la valeur de l'inductance de filtrage, des condensateurs de filtrage, le poids et le volume des inductances de lissage, d'augmenter par rapport aux dispositifs à transformateurs, les rendements, et surtout de diminuer considérablement le poids et les encombrements.
