Abstract
Accumulateur du type comportant un bac, un électrolyte contenu dans le bac et des électrodes négative et positive immergées dans l'électrolyte. L'appareil est caractérisé en ce que lesdites électrodes portant respectivement un métal ou matériau actif pour électrode négative et un matériau actif pour électrode positive sont placées en contact l'une avec l'autre. Une telle structure évite l'électrolyse de l'eau en fin de charge ou pendant une surcharge et elle élimine le risque de voir le bac éclater (s'il est étanche) sous l'effet de la pression interne qui en résulte. Accumulateurs notamment accumulateurs à électrolytes liquides ou colloïdaux.
