Abstract

L'invention concerne l'optique. Le procédé faisant l'objet de l'invention est caractérisé notamment en ce que l'on choisit une matière 11 durcissable jusqu'à l'état vitreux, on remplit de cette matière une partie d'un récipient 10, on fait tourner ce récipient, contenant ladite matière à l'état liquide, simultanément autour de deux axes se croisant, de manière que la surface elliptique intérieure de l'élément optique à obtenir soit formée par la surface libre de ladite matière sous l'action des forces centrifuges jusqu'à durcissement de cette dernière dans le récipient Le procédé en question se distingue notamment par sa simplicité et son caractère économique.
