Abstract

The single track suspension railway has two bare conductor rails supported in a lightweight moulded plastic rail, with elastic mounting to press them onto the car wipers. The conductor rails are clipped into recessed fittings in the mouldings. The rear face of the rails is profiled to provide a grip for the fittings. The plastic supports have curved flanges to guide the wipers into contact while the two supports, with the rails on their outside faces, are linked by elastic cross struts.
