Abstract

Le rotor selon l'invention comporte un rotor extérieur 44 supporté par l'intermédiaire d'un élément annulaire inférieur 42 par un moyeu 28 entraîné par un moteur 12, la cavité du centrifugeur étant couverte par un couvercle 38 et les godets 84 étant supportés uniquement par des supports verticaux 54 fixés à l'anneau extérieur 44, les godets pouvant pivoter autour des tourillons 80 de façon que le fond de chaque godet vienne porter sur la surface intérieure de l'anneau 44, cette disposition augmentant considérablement l'espace disponible dans la cavité du rotor.
