Abstract

L'invention se rattache au secteur technique des suspensions des véhicules, notamment des motocyclettes. Cet amortisseur se compose d'un corps cylindrique fixe rempli d'un liquide et dans lequel se déplace un piston comprimant ledit liquide dans une chambre supérieure séparée par une membrane souple déformable et étanche pour constituer une seconde chambre remplie d'un gaz compressé; un limiteur de débit fixé directement ou non à l'extérieur du corps cylindrique, autorise un enfoncement rapide du piston, et un retour progressif de ce dernier, dont la tige est agencée pour coopérer avec un organe de liaison et d'accouplement de la roue arrière notamment, l'extrémité opposée du corps cylindrique étant agencée pour être montée sur un point fixe de l'ossature arrière du cadre de la motocyclette. L'invention est notamment utilisée pour les motocyclettes de motocross.
