Abstract

L'invention concerne les starters pour lampes à décharge. Un starter 20 associé à une lampe à décharge 10 comprend essentiellement un thyristor 26 qui est branché de façon à nécessiter une tension d'amorçage de valeur croissante au cours des demi-cycles successifs de la tension d'alimentation. Ainsi, en cas de panne de la lampe, les tentatives d'éclairage ne se poursuivent que pendant quelques secondes, ce qui évite un clignotement désagréable de la lampe. Application à l'eclairage par tubes fluorescents.
