Abstract

L'invention a pour objet une composition d'alumine préparée par un procédé consistant : a. à mélanger une alpha-alumine monohydratée finement divisée avec une solution alcaline aqueuse ayant un pH d'au moins 7,5 environ et à former une suspension stable; b. à mélanger un sel métallique d'un acide fort avec la suspension et à convertir la suspension en une pâte; c. à extruder la pâte et d. à sécher et à calciner l'alumine extrudée produite.
