Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de fermeture étanche d'un générateur électrochimique de type bouton. Un tel générateur comporte une première coupelle métallique formant fond et contenant une première électrode, une seconde coupelle métallique formant couvercle et contenant une seconde électrode de polarité opposée; les bords de la première coupelle sont rabattus sur un joint disposé sur les bords de la seconde coupelle. Selon l'invention on dispose dans la première coupelle un anneau métallique comprenant une portion cylindrique en contact avec la paroi cylindrique de la coupelle, une portion intermédiaire présentant une section << en escalier >>, et une portion orthogonale à la portion cylindrique, ces deux dernières portions permettant de comprimer le joint contre la paroi cylindrique de la première coupelle. Application aux générateurs électrochimiques de type bouton et à électrolyte alcalin.
