Abstract
Système de tomographie calculée pour l'identification de nombres CT correspondant à l'atténuation des rayons X par des éléments de volume d'un corps. Le système comprend des moyens d'affichage 40 des zones constituant l'image reconstruite par calculateur des différents éléments de volume explorés, une matrice de mémoire 18 permettant de mémoriser une large gamme de valeurs de signaux correspondant aux nombres des éléments de volume, des moyens de sélection 30, 31 sélectionnant une fenêtre constituée par un petit intervalle de valeurs délimité par deux valeurs limites contenues dans la large gamme, un niveau de base de la fenêtre étant centré entre ces deux limites, et des moyens 19 ne faisant moduler certaines zones de l'image reconstruite que par des signaux d'une bande étroite correspondant aux valeurs de nombres CT du niveau de base à l'intérieur de la fenêtre sélectionnée. Application à la localisation de tumeurs bénignes et malignes dans des tissus mous.
