Abstract

L'invention décrit un procédé et un appareil d'osmose inverse à l'aide de membranes semi-perméables laissant sélectivement passer de l'eau purifiée provenant d'une solution de départ mise sous pression par une pompe alternative à piston ou à diaphragme. L'action de la pompe est assistée par l'action du fluide concentré renvoyé sous pression du côte opposé du piston ou du diaphragme de la pompe. Des distributeurs, commandant l'admission et le départ alterné du fluide concentré vers et en provenance du cylindre de la pompe, sont mécaniquement actionnés par l'inversion du sens de la force appliquée à la tige de piston, avec un temps d'arrêt mécanique menage. L'appareil peut servir à dessaler de l'eau de mer, avec un entraînement par levier manuel ou par le vent.
