Les polyribonucléotides obtenus par dégradation d'acides ribonucléiques ribosomiques de micro-organismes ou d'organes animaux et dont le rapport global des bases puriques aux bases pyrimidiques est compris entre 1,0 et 2,5, ont une activité sur la genèse des leucocytes et des plaquettes. Ils sont préparés par dégradations physiques (ribonucléases) ou chimiques (soude ou potasse) des acides ribonucléiques ribosomiques.
