Abstract

A textile web is marked with a motif or reference mark, using a printing device fitted with an endless paper band, which is perforated according to the marks required. The band passes around two rollers and is driven at the same speed as the web by the electric motor. The viscous marking or printing medium is fed from the inside to the outside of the paper band, by distribution means provided between the rollers. Process eliminates a tiring and painstaking manual procedure, by ensuring that the web and the perforated paper band are driven at precisely similar speeds.
