Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet un procédé de purification d un courant de gaz par élimination à l'aide d'au moins un filtre d'adsorption, notamment d'un filtre à charbon actif, des impuretés combustibles contenues dans ce courant, dans lequel on procède, lorsque la charge en impuretés du filtre a atteint un niveau prédéterminé, à la désorption dudit filtre en utilisant un gaz inerte obtenu par la combustion d'hydrocarbures. Elle est caractérisee en ce que l'on brûle le désorbat et les hydrocarbures utilisés pour la production du gaz inerte, dans une seule chambre de combustion dont l'alimentation en air et en hydrocarbures est réglée en fonction des résultats de l'analyse de la température et/ou de la composition des gaz de combustion. Elle se rapporte à un procédé et installation de purification d'un courant de gaz à l'aide d'au moins un filtre dadsorption.
