Il comporte une pièce anti-friction recouverte d'un polymère solide auto-lubrifiant entre le patin de freinage et le piston, et entre l'étrier et le bord avant du patin, dans le sens normal de rotation du disque. L'invention s'applique notamment aux véhicules automobiles.
