Abstract

Cette invention concerne un dispositif pour couper les arbres au moyen de deux lames montées sur des arbres pivotants et dont les mouvements d'ouverture et de fermeture sont commandés par un cylindre de commande. Afin d'éviter le déplacement longitudinal du cylindre de commande sur ses pistons sous l'effet du déséquilibre possible entre les efforts résistants s'exerçant sur les lames, des moyens sont prévus pour immobiliser ce cylindre dans le sens longitudinal à l'intérieur du châssis de support D'autres moyens sont prévus de préférence pour immobiliser ledit cylindre en rotation. On évite ainsi le déplacement longitudinal du cylindre de commande, ce qui fournit un mouvement symétrique des lames par rapport au châssis de support, même en cas de déséquilibre entre les efforts résistants.
