Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de récupération du nickel dans un résidu contenant du nickel obtenu après gazéification d'une matière charbonneuse en présence d'un catalyseur contenant du nickel. Selon l'invention, on ajoute une solution aqueuse contenant de l'ammoniaque au résidu contenant du nickel en présence d'un gaz contenant de l'oxygène pour dissoudre et extraire le nickel sous forme d'un sel complexe d'ammine-nickel; on sépare le mélange en une solution aqueuse d'ammine-nickel et des matières insolubles; on ajoute encore de l'ammoniaque à la solution aqueuse d'ammine-nickel séparée pour augmenter la concentration d'ammoniaque libérée à une valeur suffisante pour précipiter l'ammine-nickel; et on sépare ce précipité. Le dessin joint montre la courbe de la solubilité du chlorure d'ammine-nickel. L'invention s'applique notamment à la récupération du nickel après gazéification de la houille.The invention relates to a process for recovering nickel from a nickel-containing residue obtained after gasification of a carbonaceous material in the presence of a nickel-containing catalyst. According to the invention, an aqueous solution containing ammonia is added to the residue containing nickel in the presence of a gas containing oxygen to dissolve and extract the nickel in the form of an ammonia-nickel complex salt; separating the mixture into an aqueous solution of ammonia-nickel and insoluble materials; further adding ammonia to the separated aqueous ammonia-nickel solution to increase the concentration of liberated ammonia to a value sufficient to precipitate ammonia-nickel; and this precipitate is separated. The accompanying drawing shows the solubility curve of ammonia-nickel chloride. The invention applies in particular to the recovery of nickel after gasification of the coal.
