Abstract

Chauffe-eau à gaz du genre échangeur de chaleur soumis à l'action d'un brûleur principal, un brûleur d'allumage constamment en service, un palpeur mesurant la température de l'eau chaude ainsi qu'un régulateur de gaz qui est commandé par ledit palpeur et règle l'admission du gaz au brûleur principal. Un tel chauffe-eau est caractérisé en ce qu'une partie 12 du tuyau d'arrivée d'eau de consommation est soumise en permanence à un chauffage par la flamme du brûleur d'allumage 3 et en ce que, dans cette partie 12, est monté un deuxieme palpeur de température 9 dont le contact il est branché en série avec un contact 18, commandé par le premier palpeur 7, du régulateur de gaz 5, dans le circuit de courant d'excitation d'une électrovanne d'enclenchement 16 du régulateur de gaz 5, le contact 18 commandé par le premier palpeur 7 s'ouvrant lors du dépassement d'une température limite supérieure prescrite, tandis que le contact il commandé par le deuxième palpeur 9 se ferme lors du franchissement vers le bas d'une température limite inférieure prescrite.
