Abstract

The metal sole plate with crampons can be adjusted laterally to fit on to a boot. It has adjustable attachment hooks mounted on at least one lateral edge of the toe and/or heel of the sole. The bottom part (14) of the L-shaped attachment hook is threaded (19) and meshes with the threads of an adjustable body (20). The body can either be a threaded sphere or a threaded cylinder and is held axially inside a casing (16). It can be rotated so that it moves the attachment hook laterally in or out and thus adjusts the separation from the opposite hook.
