Abstract

Inks and paints contain DMF to improve adhesion, flow properties and brilliance and to retard drying. DMF may be mixed with another solvent which is compatible both with it and with the ink or paint, e.g., MIBK. Pref. DMF is added at the time of use. The process is esp. useful for treating silk-screen printing inks.
