Abstract

L'invention concerne les techniques d'emballage. Le dispositif faisant l'objet de l'invention est caractérisé notamment en ce que chaque plaque 5 sur laquelle est montée une paire de pinces constituées chacune de deux volets et destinées à saisir le matériau d'emballage comporte à chacune de ses extrémités une rainure 16 longitudinale dans laquelle est monté mobile le long de ladite rainure l'un des volets 15 de la pince 3 correspondante de chaque paire de pinces et en ce que chaque mécanisme d'ouverture de pince comporte une crémaillère se trouvant en prise constante avec au moins deux pignons, dont les axes respectifs sont montés avec possibilité d'entrer en prise avec l'axe 19 de l'autre volet 18 pivotant de la pince correspondante. L'invention s'applique notamment à l'emballage de journaux ou de périodiques dans du papier.
