Abstract
The pressure regulator is designed to maintain the pressure in an enclosure between determined limits w.r.t. a reference pressure. The regulator uses a valve (8) which is submitted to the two pressures i.e. reference and enclosure pressure. The valve (8) has magnetic locking elements (20) (21) which act when the valve (8) is in the closed position and open position. The valve (8) is combined with a bellows system consisting of two coupled bellows (27, 28). One of the two bellows is subject to the pressure in the enclosure and the other to the reference pressure. The bellows system acts on the valve (8) via a lever system (32) (32). The valve (8) has a disc (15) mounted in a chamber (16). The two faces of the disc support magnetic elements (20, 21) corresp. to similar elements (22, 23) fitted to the walls of the chamber on either side of the disc.
