Abstract

Selon l'invention, l'appareillage comporte une paire de supports extrêmes pour le cylindre dont un support est pourvu de rouleaux commandés tandis que l'autre est pourvu de rouleaux fous, un desquels est orientable, autour d'un axe verticaL Un premier transducteur de déplacement axial du cylindre a sa sortie reliée à une entrée d'un premier dispositif qui effectue une comparaison avec un signal de référence alimenté à une autre entrée du dispositif lui-même; la sortie du dispositif de comparaison est opérativement reliée à travers un amplificateur, à une entrée d'un second dispositif de comparaison dont une seconde entrée est reliée à la sortie d'un second transducteur de déplacement du support du rouleau-guide. La sortie du second dispositif de comparaison est envoyée à un servo-moteur mécaniquement relie au support orientable du rouleau-guide précité. L'invention est particulièrement destinée au contrôle du déplacement axial par exemple au cours des travaux de soudure, meulage, placage de gros cylindres d'extrusion de conteneurs et similaires.
