Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif de régulation de pointes de consommation. Un circuit maître 21 compare continûment des signaux de consommation réelle 35 et des signaux de consommation désirée en provenance d'une source 37. Quand le taux de consommation désirée est dépassé d'une première quantité, le circuit maître fournit un signal de maintien sur une ligne 27 à un circuit esclave associe 22, ce qui empêche une surcharge supplémentaire d'une charge modulante 11. Quand le taux désiré de consommation est depassé d'une seconde quantité, le circuit maître fournit un signal de réduction sur une ligne 33 vers le circuit esclave 22 qui commence à réduire la charge Un circuit de sécurité et d'alarme 54 fournit diverses indications audibles et/ou coupures en réponse à la détection de divers défauts. Application à la reduction de consommation électrique de pointe et de la facturation dans les circuits d'utilisation comprenant des charges modulantes telles que des compresseurs.
