Abstract

Synthetic fibre rovings discharging appts. has a rotary member which lays the rovings into helical coils which are stopped tangentially by a brake which serves simultaneously as an axially feeding device. Appts. is used for laying rovings into spinning cans at >3000 m/min. The rovings are laid in tangle-free manner and can be removed readily for future processing.
