Abstract

The suspension clamp is of the type having a tapered body (2) fitted with suspension fittings (6) and two jaws. The jaws are transversely formed at the lower end of smallest diameter of two independent transonic sections (7). The jaws are mounted so as to slide within the suspension clamp body against the pressure of a spring (15). The two jaws are connected together by a radial pin (12) and permanently submitted to a spring (11) force tending to open the jaws. In the lower part of the jaws are a pair of coaxial radiused slots (9) are formed which are designed to grip the self-supporting aerial cable (20, 22).
