Abstract

Le nouveau garnissage réfractaire suivant l'invention convient pour la construction de nombreux types de four et, en particulier, pour les fours fixes de grandes dimensions. Il se caractérise par un assemblage formé de plusieurs couches successives alternées de réfractaire de faible et de forte conductivité. La réfractaire de forte conductivité peut être du graphite ou du semi-graphite, et le réfractaire de faible conductivité, un silicoalumineux. Ce nouveau garnissage s'applique en particulier aux hauts fourneaux.
