Abstract

Appareil de détection d'une matière ferromagnétique dans une masse de matière non ferromagnétique, par exemple des copeaux de titane. Il comprend deux bobines chercheuses 1 et 2 qui constituent un magnétomètre classique placé au centre d'un solénoïde électromagnétique 3 à courant continu. Ce solénoïde est entouré d'un blindage 4 en fer et un tube 6 passe en son centre. Ce tube est parcouru par une masse de matière non ferromagnétique, par exemple des copeaux de titane, pouvant contenir des particules de matière ferromagnétique, par exemple des pointes d'outil d'usinage. Lors du passage de ces particules, une certaine tension apparaît aux bornes des bobines 1 et 2 et est utilisée pour déclencher un mécanisme de tri. Domaine d'application : épuration de matières de récupération pour la fabrication de pièces métalliques.
