Dispositif de manutention comportant un portique déplaçable le long du quai où est amarré un navire à décharger, une flèche inclinable par rapport au portique, un appareil élévateur porté par l'extremité libre de la flèche, et un balancier à contrepoids d'équilibrage de la flèche monté basculant sur le portique Il est caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte un bras basculant auquel la flèche est articulée, ledit bras et ledit balancier étant articulés autour d'un même axe solidaire du portique. L'invention est applicable au déchargement de navires.
