Abstract

Procédé pour préparer un tube microporeux en polymère de fluorure de vinylidène. On extrude un polymère de fluorure de vinylidène fondu sous forme tubulaire et on fait cristalliser le polymère en le soumettant à orientation par écoulement avec formation d'un tube initial présentant une biréfringence de 15 x 10**-3 à 30 x 10**-3, les cristaux du tube initial de polymère de fluorure de vinylidène présentant un seul pic endothermique étroit à la fusion; on traite le tube initial à la chaleur en l'absence pratiquement complète de tension positive à une température de 80 à 170 degrés C pendant au moins 3 s.; on étire le tube au taux d'étirage de 20 à 200 % de sa longueur initiale à une température de 10 à 100 degrés C; et on traite le tube étiré à la chaleur sous tension à une température de 80 à 160 degrés C pendant au moins 3 s. Le tube microporeux en polymère de fluorure de vinylidène sert en particulier de membrane d'ultrafiltration.
