Abstract

The post for connecting wires ensures simplification and saves time compared to screw or wrap-wire assembly in circuits. The post (1) is attached to the carrier (2) by any conventional means and features a slot (3) which exhibits contractions. The insulated wire (5) is inserted into the slot and pushed through the contractions, the latter stripping its insulation. The hold of the wire is so intimate both mechanically and electrically that relatively significant tension or movements do not affect its contact. The connection may be fixed by screwing, pressing, riveting brazing or welding.
