Abstract

Clip or female part of a blade and socket connector the clip forming an end terminal for a single wire. The clip provides a sprung grip on the blade is reuseable and is pressed out from a single strip of thin sheet metal. The clip when folded into its final form consists of a box structure split along its top surface (8). The strips (6, 7) forming the two resulting top surfaces are elongated and are folded back into two arcs (11) within the box. The arcs touch the bottom inside surface of the box and continue round to bear on the inside surface of the top to form a sprung contact.
