Abstract

Condensateur électrique dont l'élément capacitif est imprégné d'un mélange de mono- et de di-isopropylnaphtalène. Le diélectrique de l'élément capacitif du condensateur est constitué par soit du papier isolant, soit par une pellicule de matière p astique, soit par les deux. La matière plastique utilisée est une polyoléfine, en particulier du polypropylène. Le mélange d'huiles servant à imprégner l'élément capacitif renferme de 10 à 60 % en poids et de préférence de 20 à 40 % en poids de mono-isopropylnaphtalène, le reste étant constitué par du di-isopropylnaphtalène. Application à la réalisation de condensateurs moins fragiles présentant de meilleures propriétés physiques et électriques, notamment une plus grande tension initiale par effet de couronne et une plus grande tension alternative de résistance à long terme, surtout à basse température (- 60 degrés C).
