Abstract
a. L'invention concerne un procédé de détermination de l'état d'écoulement d'une substance fluide par l'émission d'ondes ultrasonores de fréquence constante vers une zone spatiale de cette substance, réception des ondes ultrasonores dispersées sur la substance, transformation de ces ondes ultrasonores en un signal primaire modulé en amplitude et en phase suivant cette dispersion et démodulation du signal primaire en vue d'émettre un signal de modulation pouvant être décomposé en un spectre de composantes de fréquences différentes et comportant des pseudo-périodes qui constituent l'écart entre des valeurs momentanées successives et mutuellement correspondantes du signal de modulation. b. Procédé caractérisé en ce que la durée correspondant à un nombre prédéterminé de pseudo-périodes est comparée avec une durée prédéterminé. c. Ce procédé permet d'arriver à une plus grande précision que les procédés connus et d'assurer l'automatisation
