Abstract

The device has a case (12, 30). It has a switch space (34) which is sealed against ambient atmosphere and it has switches (38) generating display and test signals. Coupling devices (16) are used for rotatable connection with the tested shaft (14). There are switch operating device (72) and magnetic couplings (84, 86) between the coupling devices (16) and the switch operating devices for connection of the shaft rotary motion to the switch operating devices (72), so that the switches are operated in accordance with the shaft position.
